I was not a fan of this movie… And i think the reason was this… the movie trailers made this movie out to be Xmen meets ‘a league of extraordinary gentemen’ I figured it would be really cool… Instead it was dark and disturbing at times… I mean overall, it was done well, and it had a complex plot/theme, but the darkness/heaviness overshadowed everything, and afterwards i felt like I needed an entire bottle of Prozac just keep going…

Since I haven’t seen it, I can’t really share much with you.
It does sound though like the wife that waits for her alien changed husband represents the church waiting for Jesus. It’s cool.
I don’t know if I really want to watch it, cuz it sounds scary and too gory. The symbolism sounds great though.

The second movie confused me. I didn’t understand how finding the Indian gold city would help prove Gates’ innocence.
